A recent night visit to Puako waters resulted in some interesting encounters. The little eel in the crevice at the keyhole (entry/exit) appears to be a juv. yellow-head eel. The large red crab with the formidable pincers may be a "Splendid Pebble Crab" and the small red / patterned lobster appears to be a "Bullseye Reef Lobster." The strange catfish-looking guy is a Bearded Cusk Eel. The splendid thing about diving is you almost always see something not seen before (or doing something new or both) and the Splendid Pebble Crab is new to me.
