Albanese had 'relied' on company tax cuts as a budget 'attack point'

Albanese had 'relied' on company tax cuts as a budget 'attack point' Sky News contributor Grahame Morris says Anthony Albanese had relied on the government to include its third tranch of its income tax cut policy in the federal budget as an "attack point", which appears to have been withheld.

"By the look of it, Mr Albanese had relied on having that attack point tomorrow to say look, Gina Rinehart is getting tax cuts, but what's it mean for you," Mr Morris said.

"The Opposition Leader has resorted to - a $2 trillion budget - and he's out there jumping up and down about a $2 million disease control centre.

"As a scene-setter, it's just really strange."
