We will teach you the technologies, materials, procedures, and managing systems that are commonly found in dental offices near you. Making your transition from college to the workforce smooth.

Dental Assistants are professionals who perform a variety of clinical and administrative procedures. The dental assistant is a valuable team member who contributes to the dental offices’ success and productivity. You will learn a variety of dental procedures and practices using the most current materials and technology: take and analyze dental images, manage patient records, supplies, equipment, and infection control as well as assist with medical emergencies.

The Dental Assisting Program accepts applications any time during the year but interested individuals are advised to submit their applications by mid-May. Applicants must complete eight hours of observation in a dental office. There are 24 dental assisting students accepted each year, classes begin in the Summer B Term and are offered only on the Daytona Beach Campus.
