Coronavirus: How practical is working from home in the long run?

The COVID-19 pandemic forced many companies to have employees work remotely in order to slow the spread of the virus. About 4.7 million Canadians started working from home since the lockdowns were put in place. But how feasible is this new option? Are workers as productive and will we see more of it as a part of our new normal?
