An elderly man was tied to the hospital bed allegedly over non payment of dues in city hospital of Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh. The family of the elderly man alleged that the hospital management tied the man to the hospital bed when they failed to pay the full amount. However, the hospital staff has denied the allegations. They say that the old man was having convulsions he had to be tied up, so that he would not hurt himself. The district collector of Shajapur has directed the chief medical health officer to probe the matter.
