Premiers stoop to ‘manufacturing a crisis’ for political gain

Premiers stoop to ‘manufacturing a crisis’ for political gain Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says “mixed messaging” has run rampant across Australia as states attempt to ease restrictions and restart their economies.

Speaking of Queensland, Mr Hardgrave accused Annastacia Palaszczuk of “manufacturing a crisis” when she was “always going to allow the National Rugby League across the border”.

“She just wanted to milk it for all it was worth,” he said.

Moving to Victoria, Mr Hardgrave said “the Socialist republic of Dan-istan” would probably be holding celebrations alongside the Chinese who are celebrating the National Day of the People's Republic of China.

“While Premiers are grandstanding and people are playing political games, the prime minister continues to show real and genuine leadership,” he said.

Scott Morrison has “been very calm, he’s been very measured and is showing a way through”.
