"Even though" "although" and "though" are all used as transition words to show contrast between two ideas. You can think of them as formal versions of "but".
"even though" "although" and "though" have the same meaning. "Although" is the most formal, followed by "even though" and then "though".
"Even though" "although" and "though" also have the same sentence structure. They can be used at the beginning of a sentence or in the middle of the sentence.
"Though" can also be used at the end of a sentence. This is done conversationally and is very common in real English by native English speakers.
You'll feel confident using "even though" "although" and "though" by the end of this lesson.
