Lockdowns make the poor an awful lot poorer - WHO envoy

The global #economy has certainly felt the impact of #lockdowns with one recent forecast suggesting it will contract by 5% in 2020 despite governments together stumping up trillions of dollars to protect jobs and markets.

But the World Health Organisations is now warning leaders against using lockdowns as the primary control method against the spread of #Covid19.
