on the south southwest side of town this

was this the original home was a I think

it was a 1940's like a 3-bedroom 2bath

brick home that the owners really fell

in love with the home but really fell in

love with the vision for what this home

could be and they worked with an

architect who just did a fabulous job at

designing the home that you currently

see here that would meet their needs

they've got a you know a great family a

lot of activities a lot of sports and

different things a lot of entertaining

so they needed a space that obviously

was updated and fresh but also created

space for those those activities and

their family environment so we were able

to come in and redo I mean every square

inch of this house I wish we had a

before and after because it just looks

totally different

but we created a second floor addition

we added on to the house and a couple of

other spots completely you know

transformed all the interior spaces we

put on a screen porch on the back and a

nice large front porch on the front tell

absolutely so you know because of the

the age of the home you know one of the

challenges is putting on a second story

when it comes to you know an older an

older home and so you know the architect

is is key in that scenario as well as a

structural engineer there we go there's

a there's a before and so the architect

and the structural engineer come in and

really just kind of put together those

building components that we're going to

to take off that entire roof and put on

a second story so those are always fun

after but that was one of the challenges

here that we faced is making sure the

use a combination of some steel beams

lumber but at the end of the day it just
