American Soldiers Are Taken Aback After The Most Unsuspecting Presence Appears At Their Base


The work of a soldier is never done. In times of war and peace, they bear the burden of an entire country on their backs, even taking on tasks beyond fighting. And on one United States base in Syria, a soldier named Shelby Koontz was called to do something above and beyond the requirements of her position.

When an unexpected visitor arrived at the base, Lieutenant Koontz saw an opportunity to save a life and do some good. In the process, she and every other soldier gained an ally that made the warzone feel a little bit more like home. An impossible decision, however, threatened to wreck their newfound peace.
