Mr Heath, from Haverhill near Cambridge, explained that on his first two days he delivered prescriptions to an elderly couple and made a phone call to another elderly lady.
The requests came through to him on the NHS GoodSAM app.
“The reason why I signed up to become an NHS volunteer responder is primarily because I want to give back and help out the people that are in need the most,” he said.
“My partner, my mum, my sister and other members of my family all work in the frontline of the NHS and are working hard through this pandemic.”
