There is every reason to believe the economic rebound can be “robust” Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell explains the emergency measures the Fed is taking on a recent webcast hosted by the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at Brookings. According to Powell, “There is every reason to believe that the economic rebound, when it comes, can be robust. We entered this turbulent period on a strong economic footing, and that should help support the recovery.”
