Poker Pros Jesse Sylvia and Derek Gomez adapt to coronavirus shutdown and go virtual

Poker Pros Jesse Sylvia and Derek Gomez adapt to coronavirus shutdown and go virtual The coronavirus and the closures here in Las Vegas that have accompanied the pandemic has hit many segments of the sports world.

Even the activities that may be considered fringe 'sports' like professional poker.

Jesse Sylvia, the runner-up in the 2012 World Series of Poker, and Derek Gomez are two gentlemen that have moved from the poker room inside our Las Vegas casinos to the virtual world.

Jesse has missed tournaments around the world due to the coronavirus. Derek is also a professional dealer in Las Vegas and the elimination of the live poker scene has really hurt his wallet.

Thankfully the poker world has an online presence and both of these players have moved there to supplement their income.
