How to sew a quick and easy washable|reusable face mask

How to sew a quick and easy washable|reusable face mask This is a very slight modification to a tutorial I found that was SO EASY!! You can watch it here: This mask is MUCH faster than the previous video. I personally wear the other style at work, but made a handful of these to send to my high school bestie. I needed an easier to make & more easily washable mask.

I know these are not n95 filtered masks. In today’s situation, those are very difficult for even our hospitals to get ahold of. This is something rather than nothing for those of us exposed without proper PPE.

What you’ll need:
*2 pieces of cotton cut to 7 inches by 9 inches
*1 piece of flannel cut to 6.5 inches by 7 inches
*2 elastic pieces cut to 7 inches (1/8 may be more comfortable but is very hard to find right now. I used 1/4 inch since that is what I had on hand)
*scissors
*and of course a sewing machine.

Thanks for watching and enjoy!
