Having worked in China for a few years I have had the opportunity to perform a lot of music from Anime movies. This song is from a great anime film made by Hayao Miyazki called Castle in the Sky, with music by Joe Hisaishi. I love so much of Hisaishi's music and I particularly like Castle in the Sky for its beautiful melody.

I really enjoyed creating this cello cover and tried to do something a bit different with the pizzicato. I hope you agree that this singing melody suits the cello really well.
